A 4-Day Soul Rejuvenating NZ Trip

G'day Travellers! 👋🏻

Happy Wednesday, we hope you’re having a great week so far and don’t worry, the weekend is around the corner! 🧡

We know life can be a bit uneventful at times, which is why it’s so important to always have something to look forward to. 👀

What we really mean by that is…

It’s important to always have a holiday to look forward to! 🤩

“But it’s so hard to find the time, especially with 40-hour work weeks.”

Ahh yes, life can be like that sometimes, buuuuut 🤔

Not all holidays need to be a recreation of the 2004 film ‘Around the World in 80 Days’. 😅

It could simply mean a weekend away or treating yourself to a 5-star hotel experience for a night. 🤷🏼‍♂️

In fact - the Cambridge Dictionary defines the word holiday as:

“a time when someone does not go to work or school but is free to do what they want, such as travel or relax.” 🤓

👆🏻 Direct quote: “a time…” not “at least 128736 days…”

This ties in nicely with today's email topic: A beautiful 4-day road trip along New Zealand’s South Island (starts at Wellington and loops back via Nelson and Abel Tasman). 🇳🇿

But instead of trying to explain it using a bunch of strategically organised letters, we’ll just let the pictures do the talking.

After all, a picture is worth a thousand words…

Day 1: Wellington to Nelson

: 3 h 30 min | to Picton via Cook Strait ferry
🚗: 1 h 45 min | 134 km via SH1 & SH6
🚊: 2 h 15 min | by Intercity

Day 2: Nelson to Abel Tasman National Park

🚗: 1 h 5 min | 65 km via to Marahau via SH60
🚊: 1 h 45 min | by Intercity

Day 3: Marahau to Blenheim via St Arnaud

🚗: 2 h 40 min | 190 km via SH6 & SH63
🚊: 1 h 45 min | direct to Blenheim by Intercity

Day 4: Blenheim to Wellington

🚗: 0 h 25 min | 28 km via SH1
🚊: 0 h 30 min | by Intercity
: 3 h 30 min | to via Cook Strait ferry

Absolutely stunning. 😍

New Zealand definitely ranks as one of the most naturally extraordinary locations on the planet. 🌍

Not only that, but it’s also extremely culturally rich and is home to the most dominant team in sporting history (not as of recent…) - the All Blacks. (If you’re over there while they’re playing, we highly recommend attending!) 🏉

So, Travellers, have you guys ever been to New Zealand? If so, where’d you go and stay? We’d love to see some photos too! (You may even be featured on our social media pages and travel blog) 😉

Make sure, however, if you do plan on heading that way, that you grab one of our prepaid travel SIMs; they take the stress out of finding one while you’re over there AND have extremely low fees. 🤑

We have data plans tailored to your needs and connection speeds that’ll have you posting your duck-lipped travel selfies in no time! (Quack 🦆)

You can check out our entire collection here.

Anyways, adios amigo, have a great rest of your day and happy and safe travels. 🧡
